A hunter named ████████ tried contacting the player three days later, but found the account no longer existed, the hunter, thinking it was a termination, thought nothing of it, and forgot about the player. They told him to keep in contact in case anything else happened. Startled by all of this, he got in contact with hunters who documented all of this information. When the player rebooted his computer, his wallpaper was a screenshot of him in the game with Smile. ![]() He walked closer to it, and as he got closer, the game got laggier, until his entire computer crashed. When he joined, he described it as a pitch black, smoke-filled room, with a noticeably larger smile, hovering at the other end and tracking his movement with its gaze. ![]() He eventually gave in and clicked the game link, which automatically caused him to join. He had been harassed by these DMs for a little over a month and was growing tired of it. These DMs were always titled "Smile", and always contained the words "I need you here" within, with a link to a game. Several years ago, in 2011, there was a report of a player named █████ receiving DMs from an 'unclickable' account named Smile. No true avatar has been found matching the descriptions given, which means it could be a bug or manipulated page that players get sent to, rather than a true player. The in-game counter-part is a hovering cloud with the same face as the player, with two large hands hovering just below it. The player avatar is solid black, with large white eyes and a large smile across its face, lined with razor-sharp teeth. Smile is often depicted as being in two forms, his player avatar, and his in-game counterpart. ![]()
